- Morbid Obesity or Medically complicated obesity
- Evaluation by Bariatric Surgeon
- Evaluation by Nutritionist

- Upper endoscopy or x-ray to evaluate esophagus and stomach with oral contrast
- Laboratories, blood work
- Consult to subspecialties according to patient needs (Internal Medicine, Cardiologist, endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, Pulmonologist)
- Other studies: abdominal ultrasound (evaluate gallbladder), obstructive sleep apnea study, chest x-ray, electrocardiogram or echocardiogram, according to patient’s needs.
